Ventured out in the pouring rain to Spotlight only to discover that what I wanted wasn’t on sale yet
However I did manage to have a look around and look at what I found! A Zutter Binder, the carry bag and a Zutter corner rounder. What did I pay you ask……$2.01. That’s right folks, a big $2.01. All Zutter items were selling out for $1 each except the bag which was a big 1 cent! I was very impressed. So when I venture back again for the items I originally wanted, if I don’t get them I will still be one happy camper

Sorry folks, but I’ve been busy with Christmas!
Here are the final days of the craft swap. I’ve had a great time participating in the craft swap and have learnt some new techniques and also many, many ideas for the future. Thanks Rebekah and thanks Crafters Anonymous for organising!
Day 10 -Something to post
Some great cards that I will be able to post off to someone near and dear!

Day 11: Something Sparkley
I’m starting to use stickers and rub ons a little more so these will come in handy

Day 12: A Surprise
The photo doesn’t do this justice. It is gorgeous!

Recently the class was a One Sheet Wonder class. The theme of course was Christmas!
A One Sheet Wonder is when you are given a template to work with. It is a great starting point and you can then embellish as you wish. It is a fairly quick way to make 9 cards with a common theme. Put them in a card box and it makes a great gift.
You could also use designer paper instead of stamping. As you can change what you stamp and the colours you use it makes this technique very versatile.
The template we used is available in the downloads section.

Hope you’re all not too busy with Christmas preparations! Last week I showed you day 1 through 4 of the Christmas Swap. Thought I’d share the next few days too
Day 5 – Something to cook or make
Rebekah sent me the lovely gingerbread and now I’ll be able to make them too

Day 6 – Something to tie
Ribbon never goes astray when crafting!

Day 7 – Something Christmassy
These will be great on Christmas Day, might even be able to get the kids to work!

Day 8 – Something pretty
Wow! I’ve learnt some great new techniques from the gifts Rebekah has sent. This is another on my to do list.

Day 9 – Something to stamp with
These great little clips have so many uses, I think they’ll be great with the milk carton die.

It’s all very exciting! Don’t forget to check back and see the last few days of the swap.

I received one of my 12 Days of Christmas Swap items in a tin. It was amazing! Thanks Rebekah for introducing me to this great idea. You can find the instructions over on Split Coast -

As I loved them so much I made some of my own

December16
Chrissie showed me these at our last team meet. I then went about finding the bags, if you’re interested go to the following facebook page:

and they have a shop link at the top!
I also saw a variation over at Crafters Anonymous (thanks for the great ideas ladies!)

I participated in the 12 Days of Christmas Swap with Rebekah, a big thanks to Rebekah, it is all very exciting
Here is a pic of the gifts I received from Rebekah before opening any.

Day 1 – Something to Hang
I loved this tin idea so much that I’ve made some of my own
I’ll be posting pics of them in the next few days!

Day 2 – Something Altered
I use all of these items so they will come in very handy.

Day 3 – Something Yummy
Inside this jar were gingerbread, the smell was divine!

Day 4 – Something Smelly
Little perfume bottles….you can never have enough perfume

December12
I joined an online craft forum – Crafters Anonymous. It’s a great group of people and they have online classes which are lots of fun
Through this group I joined in on a 12 Days of Christmas swap. Basically you partner with someone else and come up with 12 presents for the 12 Days of Christmas. Each day has a theme which you should try and match – well I did try!
I’ll be posting pics of my pressies each day I open them.
Here is a pic of my gifts before I packed them up and sent them to Melbourne. It’s the first swap I’ve been in so I hope I’ve done it the right way.

Each gift had to be labelled with the day it corresponded to so they can be opened in order.
I’m really looking forward to receiving mine!
December10
Thanks Chrissie! I recently attended a team meeting at Chrissie’s place and we used fabric in the bigshot. Wow! It is so easy and I think the possibilities are endless. I can hardly wait for the holidays to have a play around with all the great ideas
We made a fabric bag tag at Chrissie’s place.

This is the front of the tag and……….

This is the back!
Exciting stuff!

Thought I’d show you some pics of the gifts that we made for the Baby Shower.

We made gift cards in boxes, notepade holders (thanks Kim!) and also used the bigshot bag die to put choccies in for consolation prizes!

This is one of the gift card sets with the window box. I’ll be posting the template for the box in my downloads section soon

This is the bigshot favour bag die which was filled with chocolates

The milk carton die had little soap put inside and were a thank you for all the lovely ladies for attending.
Thanks Tan, I had a great day!
